About Mary Beth Binder

I am an artist who specializes in unique glass mosaic art. My work can be found in private collections & public installations in the United States, Europe and Australia.

I am surrounded and inspired by the patterns, designs and textures that nature creates, and often work with stone and glass together as it reflects my surroundings:  our beautiful earth, and the ever-changing sea and sky. It is very satisfying to be able to take a medium as solid and static as glass or stone and be able to create with it a piece that shows movement, flow and energy!

I have been fortunate to have studied with master mosaic artists and to have apprenticed with, assisted, and been mentored by them. I am happy to continue sharing the beauty that I see all around me on our planet, especially through the creation of works representing the environment and culture of Hawaiʻi.
